INTRODUCTION:
They say “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Well, for many, seeing is believing, and it’s not until one sees something that they can truly begin to grasp the magnitude of a thing. You may have some idea or maybe even no idea about racism against Black Americans in America. However, if you truly want to know the cruel truth of it, the Black American History & Culture series presents The Tragic Story of Emmett Till course consisting of 2 classes shedding light on racism’s hateful and brutal terrorization of Black Americans young and old prior to the civil rights movements.
IN THIS COURSE:
You will be presented with historical information about the cruelty of racism in America revealed through events surrounding the brutal murder of Black American teen Emmett Till.
THIS COURSE IS FOR:
Those interested in Black American history and culture with good reading, listening and speaking skills who like learning through reading and watching videos.
