Instead of skipping your study session, try to do something manageable, even if it’s just for 5 or 10 minutes. This small effort prevents the disruption of your learning habit and keeps you from falling into the “rest zone” for too long. Remember, a little bit of progress each day compounds over time, and that’s how big results are achieved.

Once you take a break from studying for too long, it becomes increasingly tempting to stay in that “rest mode.” We’ve all experienced this—one day off turns into two, and suddenly a week has gone by. The longer you rest, the harder it becomes to start again. This is not just a language learning issue; it’s a cognitive phenomenon called the inertia effect, where the longer we avoid an activity, the more mental resistance we build up toward starting it again.

こんばんは！
Japanese daily life podcast のAtsushiです。
このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

今日は、文法シリーズはちょっとお休みします。
今日はぼくの話をします。

ぼくは今、北海道に住んでいます。
そして、10月からは妻と2人で海外に行く予定です。

その準備のために、1度大阪の実家へ引越をします。
引越、というよりも家具や荷物をほとんどなくして大阪へ行きます。

今は、北海道でいらないものといるものを分けています。
いらないものは、あげるか、売るかを決めます。
いるものは、ぼくの実家か、奥さんの実家に送ります。
ほとんどないんですが。少しだけ。

売るのは、リサイクルショップに持って行ったり、フリマアプリを使ったりしています。

あと3週間とちょっとでほとんどの持ち物を手放すので、大変です。ですが、はじめての感覚でちょっと気持ちいいです。


それから、ぼくの家ではネコを飼っています。
そのネコは先週、大阪の実家に連れて行きました。
はじめは少し落ち着かない感じでしたが、今はだいぶ落ち着いてきました。北海道の家にいた時と同じような感じで、よく寝てます。

という感じで、今月は引越の準備だったり、北海道を最後に満喫したりと忙しいです。

ですが、もちろん、いつも通りオンラインレッスンもしてます。
