Students will focus particularly on different forms of the "there is"/"there are" structure which will help them to compare advantages and disadvantages (in this case, relating to working from home).

Of course.

Waiter:
Hello, welcome. Here's the menu.

Arad:
Thank you.

What are you going to order?

Arad:
I think grilled fish.

Niloufar:
Good choice.

Arad:
What about you?

Niloufar:
I'll have a salad and a juice.

Arad:
You're eating light!

Niloufar:
(Laughs) Yeah, especially in warm weather.

By the way, the view here is amazing.

Niloufar:
Exactly. You could sit here for hours.

Arad:
I'm glad we found this restaurant.

In this episode we are going to learn a Real Chinese Conversation【Restaurant reservation】.

Step 1: Listen and catch the words you know already, have a guess about the content.
Step 2: Check the script to learn one by one. 
Step 3: Listen and repeat after it.
Step 4: Practice until you can perform the dialogue.

A: 喂，您好。这里是广州饭店。
wéi ， nín hǎo 。 zhè lǐ shì guǎng zhōu fàn diàn 。
Hello. This is the Guangzhou Hotel.
B: 你好，我想预订一张桌子。
nǐ hǎo ， wǒ xiǎng yù dìng yì zhāng zhuō zi 。
Hello, I'd like to reserve a table.
A: 请问您贵姓？
qǐng wèn nín guì xìng ？
May I have your surname?
B: 免贵姓郑。
miǎn guì xìng zhèng 。
You may call me Zheng.
A: 请问您几位？需要什么时候用餐？
qǐng wèn nín jǐ wèi ？ xū yào shén me shí hòu yòng cān ？
How many are you please? When do you want to have the meal?
B: 我们6个人。晚上7点左右到。

There are six of us. We'll be there around 7pm.

It's 500 yuan for a private room.

A private room, then. It's quieter.
