squint: to close your eyes a little because the light is too bright
blush: when your face turns a little red because you like someone
amend: to change something, to improve it

Phrases:

to seek someone out: to search for a specific person
third wheel: an extra person on a date with the couple

        我们经常会说：中国的历史有“上下五千年”。那是从“三皇五帝“开始算起的。We often say that the history of China is " From BC to AD, there are five thousand years of time.". That's from the Three Kings and Five Emperors.
        真正有准确年代记载的，是从公元前2146年的“夏朝”开始，到1911年“清朝”结束，大致经历了18个皇朝。The real accurate chronological records, from the "Xia Dynasty" in 2146 BC to the end of the "Qing Dynasty" in 1911, roughly experienced 18 imperial dynasties.

このPodcastは、日本語を楽しく勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

今日はコーヒーの日、について話します。
10/1は国際コーヒーの日でした。

2015年から、世界共通で10/1がコーヒーの日になりました。今ではいろんな場所でコーヒーの日を紹介するイベントもあります。

10/1がコーヒーの日になったのは、10月がコーヒーの年度のはじまりだからだそうです。

みなさんはコーヒーは飲みますか？
ぼくはよく飲みます。

2年前までは、ぼくはコーヒーショップで働いていました。
ですので、毎日たくさんコーヒーを飲んでいました。

今もほぼ毎日、朝にコーヒーを飲みます。
今は自分で焙煎したコーヒーを淹れて飲みます。


砂糖などは何も入れずにブラックで飲みます。
最近は夏でもホットコーヒーを飲むことが多くなりましたが、前は夏は必ずアイスコーヒーを飲んでいました。


せっかくなので1つだけ、コーヒーの楽しみ方をシェアします。

ペアリング、という考え方があります。ワインなどと同じですね。

コーヒーの味によって食べるものを選ぶ、反対に食べ物に合わせてコーヒーを選ぶという考えです。

これは本当におもしろいです。

ぼくは食べ物を見る時、特にデザートですね、どんなコーヒーがあうかよく考えます。

フルーツ系のケーキならアフリカのコーヒー
チーズケーキならアジアのコーヒー
シフォンケーキなど軽いものならラテンアメリカのコーヒー

ペアリングという考えをシフト、コーヒーの楽しみ方が無限に広がります。
