Akhir-akhir ini pekerjaan saya sangat banyak dan harus selesai sebelum tenggat waktu (締切・deadline). Jadi hampir setiap malam saya begadang. “Begadang” di Bahasa Jepang artinya 遅くまで起きている, di Bahasa Inggris artinya “stay up late”. Ya, saya tahu ini tidak baik untuk kesehatan. Dan karena sering begadang, setiap hari saya minum kopi lebih dari 4 cangkir, juga menjadi lapar di malam hari. Aduh! Saya harus mulai diet lagi! Lily:汤姆，我记得你有个弟弟是吧？

Tom:是的。

Lily:他多大了?

Tom:他9了。

Lily:9了？你是想说他9岁是吗？

Tom:是的，我的一个中国朋友说他35了，所以我弟弟9了。

Lily:其实在口语中，回答年龄时，1到10需要加“岁”，10以上可以不加“岁”。比如“我28”或者“我28了”，又或者“我28岁了”，都正确，所以你弟弟多大了？

Tom:嗯～他9了

Lily: 9了? Are you trying to say he's 9 years old?

Tom: Yes, a Chinese friend of mine said he was 35le, so my brother is 9了.

Lily: Actually, in spoken language, when answering age, 1 to10 need to add "years old", more than 10 can not  add "years old".For example  I'm 28 or I'm 28了, or I'm 28岁了，All right, so how old is your brother?

昨日歯医者に行きました。私は日本に帰ったときは必ず歯医者に行くようにしています。私は歯医者に行くとき、とても緊張します。特に痛みがあるから行くわけではないのに、行く前は虫歯があったらどうしようと不安になります。ドイツでは私は一番安い保険に入っているので、日本と同じレベルの治療を期待できません。だか日本に帰る度に歯医者に行って治療しています。
今回は虫歯は見つからなかったのですが、下に生えている親知らずを抜いた方がいいと言われました。でも今親知らずを抜いたら、日本にいる間に食べたいものが食べられなくなるかもしれません。でも、親知らずを抜かないでドイツに帰って、ドイツで親知らずが痛くなればたくさんのお金を払って治療しなければいけないかもしれません。今、どうするべきかとても悩んでいます。みなさんならどうしますか？

歯医者：はいしゃ　dentist
緊張する：きんちょうする　get nervous
保険：ほけん　insurance
治療：ちりょう　treatment
期待する：きたいする　expect
