El Mayab, la tierra del faisán y del venado

Ayer 10 y hoy 11 de julio trascurren las fiestas patronales del pueblo donde vivo. Ahora se llaman “Fiestas Mayores” pero hace pocas décadas se llamaban patronales porque se celebran en honor al patrón de cada población. El patrón no es un jefe o un empresario, ni un narcotraficante no, usamos la acepción religiosa.
