Today's word is scan. This is a verb that means to quickly read or look at something, usually to find a specific piece of information. Maybe you're scanning a form to find the date that it was written or scanning a page from a book to find out where the story takes place.

Your task is to match the idioms to their meanings. I will do the first one for you as an example. In order to organize my tasks every day I have to get my ducks in a row. So the first idiom you should write down is 'get my ducks in a row'. The word you should write next to it is 'organize.' Now, let's get down to business.
