This is the third episode of the series From Cali to Barcelona, today we will talk about office hours, meal times and terminology to name the times of the day.

De Cali a Barcelona 3 - Horarios de oficina

JLPTのＮ３のテストについて説明します。
N3のテストは、三つに分かれています。
➀言語知識（文字・語彙）30分
②言語知識（文法・読解）70分
③聴解（40分）
各60点満点で、合計180点満点のテストです。
N3の合格点は総合点で95点です。そして各分野で最低19点以上取る必要があります。
得意分野、苦手分野がありますね。

一般的には、非漢字圏の人は読解が苦手と言われています。
漢字圏の人は聴解と文法が苦手です。そして、読解では高得点を取る人が多いです。
あと2か月半ですね。何をする必要があるか、分析する必要があります。

ただ、N3を受験したいと思っている人全員に言えることは、「語彙を覚えてください」ということです。明けても暮れても語彙です。明けても暮れてもというのは、朝起きて語彙、夜寝る前も語彙、とにかくずっと語彙を覚えてください。必要な漢字数は約500字と言われています。「みんなの日本語」の漢字、「look and learn」の漢字、なんでもいいです。500字を暗記することが目標です。私の単語リストには、「look and learn」の漢字リストがあります。チェックしてみてください。

もし、日本にいるのであれば、日本語で書かれた表示に目を向けることです。もちろん、聞こえてくる日本語にも注意してくださいね。駅のホームでは「足元にご注意ください」。トイレでは、「きれいに使っていただき、ありがとうございます」。牛乳パックを見て「牛乳パックのリサイクル方法：➀洗って、②開いて、③乾かしてください」って書かれています。そして「釧路産の生乳だけでつくった北海道牛乳」って。時間がある限り、日常生活の中にある日本語を読むようにしてください。

Ｎ３を受けようと思っている人の多くは、初級の日本語の教科書が終了していると思います。初級文法の教科書で勉強したことを復習しましょう。「みんなの日本語」を勉強した人は、「みんなの日本語」で勉強した文法問題がたくさん出てきます。知識を整理することが大切です。敬語問題もでてきますよ。

とにかく2か月半、全力をがんばってください。分からないことがあれば、ご相談ください。
9月中に苦手分野を確認しましょう。そして、10月、11月は、たくさん問題をやりましょう。

The room is not big, 3 by 4 meters.  But Lisa has her own bathroom, with toilet.  And a balcony.  And that is special for a student in Amsterdam.  Lisa puts her backpack on a chair and takes off her coat.  So first make tea.  She walks to the large kitchen at the end of the hall.  The kitchen is for all students together.  And that's not so great.  The kitchen is always dirty and messy.  Very dirty and very messy.  Lisa takes the kettle and puts water in the device.  Then she wants to go back to her room.  But the young man and woman are standing at the kitchen door.  "Excuse me," says the woman.  Dan is not home.  Maybe he went grocery shopping.  Can we wait here for a while?'  "Of course," says Lisa.  Would you like a cup of tea?'  The woman nods.  "gladly," she says

The Step Pyramid of Djoser Part 2.

When finally completed, the Step Pyramid rose 62 meters high and was the tallest structure of its time. The complex in which it was built was the size of a city in ancient Egypt and included a temple, courtyards, shrines, and living quarters for the priests. It covered a region of 16 hectares and was surrounded by a wall 10.5 meters high. The wall had 13 false doors cut into it with only one true entrance cut into the south-east corner; the entire wall was then ringed by a trench 750 meters long and 40 meters wide. The false doors and the trench were incorporated into the complex to discourage unwanted visitors. If someone wished to enter, he or she would have needed to know in advance how to find the location of the true opening in the wall. Djoser was so proud of his accomplishment that he broke the tradition of having only his own name on the monument and had Imhotep’s name carved on it as well.

The burial chamber of the tomb, where the king’s body was laid to rest, was dug beneath the base of the pyramid, surrounded by a vast maze of long tunnels that had rooms off them to discourage robbers. One of the most mysterious discoveries found inside the pyramid was a large number of stone vessels. Over 40,000 of these vessels, of various forms and shapes, were discovered in storerooms off the pyramid’s underground passages. They are inscribed with the names of rulers from the First and Second Dynasties of Egypt and made from different kinds of stone.
