After reading many sentences with Korean grammar in Korean conversations sentences,
Check out how much you understand the sentences with a voice recording.
Never look at the sentences when listening to the voice recording.
And Listen to the sentence repeatedly until you hear it completely.

As it's already May, a lot of the part 1 and part 2 topics are changing in the IELTS speaking exam. Let's start with the topic "Describe a positive change you made in your life" with some good idioms which are explained below.

Remember this is just an example answer, and you should never learn example answers off by heart. It's very important to speak naturally in the speaking exam.


Idioms used in the example answer:

Out of shape

If someone is unhealthy or not able to do a lot of physical activity, we can say they are out of shape.

“He drinks and smokes too much, and has become very out of shape.”



In good shape

If you’re in good shape, you are fit and healthy. This  especially refers to the physical condition of your body ( being at a healthy weight, not overweight, getting plenty of exercise)


Run down

If you’re feeling run down, you are tired and lacking energy, usually after a sustained period without enough rest.

“After working late in the office every night for the last 2 weeks, he started to feel very run down.”


Full of beans

Someone who has a lot of energy might be described as full of beans.

“Young children are always full of beans, and love to run around, and play.”


Fit as a fiddle

Fit as a fiddle means ‘in very good health’ and may more often be used to refer to older people.

“My grandfather is 86, but is still as fit as a fiddle, and goes to exercise in the park every morning.”


Picture of good health

To look the picture of health simply means to look very healthy and well.

“Wow! Have you been going to the gym recently? You look the picture of health.

How long do you want a movie to last? When do you start looking at your watch and wonder when you can leave the darkness of the cinema?

Or maybe it doesn't matter because you watch everything on streaming services, and you can pause anytime you like.

But according to a survey from the US, the perfect movie length is 92 minutes — about the same as a soccer match.

A polling company called Talker Research asked 2,000 people how long movies should be.

Only about 2% said they thought movies should be longer than two and a half hours, while just 15% want to watch a movie that's more than two hours long.

Movies like Dodgeball, Kung Fu Panda and Toy Story 2 are all about 92 minutes long.

But data suggests that the most popular movies are getting longer and longer.

A website called What to Watch found that the average length of the most successful movies has increased from 110 minutes in 1981 to 141 minutes in 2022.

The Guardian reports that nine out of the top 10 most successful films of all time are longer than two hours. Three of them are longer than three hours.

However, some say it's not the length of the film that's important, but how good it is.

There are really long films that feel much shorter because they're so interesting, and there are shorter movies that you wish would just end fast!

これは、むく、その方向へすすむ、という意味の漢字です。

音読みは、こう
訓読みは、むーかう

と読みます。

熟語です。
・方向ーほうこう　向いている方のこと

・向上ーこうじょう　上に向かうこと

・転向ーてんこう　立場を変えること

・動向ーどうこう　個人やグループの動きのこと

・内向ーないこう　内気なこと


例文です。

・それは逆方向に行ってると思います。

・向上心を持ち続けたいと思います。

・彼は今年、アマチュアからプロに転向しました。

・景気の動向からは目が離せない。

・ぼくは内向的な人間ですが、人が苦手なわけではない。

Como  ya sabemos el día 31 de octubre se celebrará Halloween y hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes un relato. Con este relato, podremos practicar nuestra escucha, compresión y a la vez conocer unos de los relatos más famosos y clásicos de misterio. 

La chica de la curva.
Se trata de un “fantasma” que pide ayuda en la carretera y cuando las personas se detienen a ayudarla, ella desaparece o causa accidentes automovilísticos. Las víctimas que aparentemente la han visto, la describen como una mujer vestida de blanco.
