今日の天気は曇りでした。今大阪は雨が降っています。
気温は23℃です。

今日は私の英語の勉強法について、話します。
最近、Netflixでフレンズを見ています。
フレンズはみなさん、知っていますか？
知っている人は多いと思いますが、
アメリカで1994年から2004年まで10年間放送された、シットコムのテレビドラマです。

今までも、英語の勉強の為に、フレンズを見るのかいいと聞いたことがあったので、何回か見ようとしたことはありましたが、続きませんでした。

今回は続いています。
今までは、あまりおもしろいと思わなかったので、続きませんでしたが、今はとてもおもしろいと思います。

前よりも少し英語を聞き取れるようになってきたのかもしれません。

いま、英語の発音を学び直しています。
発音を練習すると自分の中で言い方がわかるので、その感覚で聴くと、今までよりも少し聞き取りやすくなったように感じます。聞き取れるようになると話の内容も少しわかるので、その分おもしろいと感じるようになったのかもしれません。

英語を学び直して気づいたもう1つのことは、全部聞き取ろうとしないこと、です。どうしても全部聞き取れないといけない、と考えてしまいますが、ポイントだけにしぼって聞き取ることを意識すると良いのかなと思います。

もしかしたら日本語も似たところはあるかもしれませんね。
日本語では、文で音が高くなるところがポイントなことが多いです。これをプロミネンスと言います。

音が大きくなったり、ゆっくりになっているところが、話しての1番言いたいところです。そこを聞き取ると今までより意味がわかりやすくなると思います。ぜひ試してみてください！
