I hope you are all doing great. I decided to create a Persian podcast to help all Persian lovers to learn this beautiful language. My goal is to help you speak Persian from day 1. 
In today's episode, we learnt how to say (this is .../ or that is ....). 
This in Farsi is (ēnاین) and that in Farsi is (آنān). 
As you know, English is formed this way:
Subject + Verb + Object. 
This + is + printer.
but in Farsi, it is:
Subject + Object + Verb.
We say the same sentence like this:
This printer is!

今日も大阪から撮っています。
今日も大阪は暑そうです。

みなさんは、万博(ばんぱく)という言葉を、聞いたことがありますか？正式には、国際博覧会(こくさいはくらんかい)、万国博覧会(ばんこくはくらんかい)です。

英語だとUniversal Expositionと言うそうです。
日本ではEXPO、としか聞くことしかないので、この英語での言い方ははじめてしりました。


次のEXPOは、2025年に大阪で開催(かいさい)されます。
そして、この万博で使われるキャラクターが公募の中から決まりました。

今年3月にキャラクターが決まりました。
そして、先日には、愛称(あいしょう)も決まりました。

愛称はミャクミャクです。
(もしよければ、大阪万博、ミャクミャクなどと検索してみてください。絵を見ながら聞いた方がわかりやすいと思います)

先に形の説明をします。

細胞と水がひとつになったことで生まれた、ふしぎな生き物。その正体は不明だそうです。
 赤い部分は「細胞」で、分かれたり、増えたりします。 また、青い部分は「清い水」で、流れる様に形を変えることができます。
 今の姿は、なりたい自分を探して、いろんな形に姿を変えているようで、人間をまねた姿、だそうです。


そして、決まった名前は、ミャクミャクです。

日本では、長い期間、文化や歴史、思想などを受け継いでいくことを、"脈々"と受け継ぐ、などと表現します。

私たち人間のDNA、知恵と技術、歴史や文化。
変幻自在なキャラクターは更にあらゆる可能性をその身に宿して、私たち人間の素晴らしさをこれからも「脈々」と未来に受け継いでいってほしい。
 そんな希望を込めて「脈々＝ミャクミャク」と名付けました。
 またミャク＝脈であり、生命そのもの。ミャクミャクという2音が続く様は、血液が流れ、命が続いている音でもあります。


キャラクターだけを見ると、変な形をしていますので、はじめは少しおどろきます。でも、何度か見るとこれはこれで、クセになる、変に気になる、記憶に残るキャラクターです。
