少年　７，８歳から１５歳くらいまでの男の子
　　　少年野球　一般的には小学生がする野球として使われている。　
少女　７，８歳から１５歳～１８歳くらいまでの女の子
若者　政府の平成２６年版「子ども・若者白書」では、若者を１５歳から３４歳までの男女としている。
青年　青春期の男女。１０代後半から２０代、３０代の男女
　　　青年団　地域に住む２０代から３０代の青年男女で組織されている団体

The difference between Shoonen and Wakamono

Shoonen : boys around age from 7 and 8 to 15 years old
  　　　　　Shoonen Yakyu(baseball): It’s usually used for baseball played by elementary school students
Shoojo  : girls around age from 7 and 8 to 15 or 17 years old
Wakamono: according to the white paper for children and young people by Japanese　government, Wakamono is used for people aged from 15 to 34.
Seenen : people from late teens to 30’s
 　　　　Seenen-dan is a group organized in the region by the youth who live there.

I want to talk to you about two very often confused words advice and advise. 
Advice. 
- Advice is a noun, an uncountable noun.It is spelled a-d-v-i-c-e. The ‘c’ sounds like an ‘s’. Advice. It is used to mean a suggestion about what you should do. 
Advise
- 
Advise is spelled a-d-v-i-s-e, and is a verb. The ‘s’ sounds like a ‘z’. Advise. It means to suggest what should be done, to recommend or to give information to someone. 
The main difference between advice and advise is the grammar.  So obviously, you can't use a noun in the place of a verb or a verb in the place of a noun. So if you know which is which and which pronunciation goes with which, you will never get it wrong. But a big problem is with advice being uncountable. So many times I hear, can I give you an advice? No no… it to give me a piece of advice or some advice - depending on whether you mean something singular or plural.
In theory it is very simple to understand, but if you don’t pay attention to learning the rules it can make a  big difference to you getting it right or wrong in Business English.
Every day, I hear so many advanced speakers who use these words wrong. So have a look, learn it, fix it, never get it wrong again. That's it today. Bye.

Escucha activa el secreto para entender y hablar español con fluidez

Try these tips during awkward silences or when you don't know what else to talk about.

1.   Don't reject your own ideas thinking that they are not worth sharing. When you filter most of your stories and experiences you have fewer topics to talk about. 
 
2.   Don't list your points, instead elaborate on each point using examples or personal experiences. This also gives the opportunity to the listener to add to the topic or share their own experiences making it a two-way conversation.
 
3.   Speak at the right pace. If you speak too fast, you end the conversation very quickly. It’s usually because the listener doesn’t understand you and therefore can’t keep the conversation going.  
 
4.   Learn to ask smart questions to keep the conversation going. Ask open-ended questions such as, “what do you think about …?” with follow-up questions “why do you think …?”. This helps you build up on the information that you received.
 
5.   Practise thinking critically so you always have something to say. When you practice critical thinking and ask yourself counter-questions, you are able to spontaneously think of ideas and form arguments using your background knowledge. You can easily connect the dots and be eloquent while talking to people.
 
6.   Learn a few speech frameworks such as Past - Present - Future, Problem – Solution - Benefit, or other storytelling formats such as ‘the mountain’. When you have a structure, you don’t lose your chain of thoughts and you don’t run into dead ends. Your listeners are also able to understand you better and remember what you said.
 
7.   If you are using a second language to communicate such as English, then simplify your complex thoughts in your native language first and then translate them to English. Lots of times when translation is tough, we give up and change the topic. But this practice helps you make the translation process easy.

こんにちは！Atsushiです。
今日は7月3日。天気は晴れ、久しぶりの晴れです。
気温は24℃。最高気温は27℃ぐらいまで上がり、北海道もとても暑い日になりました。



今日は日本の会社、無印良品という会社について話をします。私が個人的に日本の好きなブランドとして、無印良品、という会社があります。

みなさんは聞いたことがありますか？
もしかしたらみなさんの国にもあるかもしれないですね。
私は大学生の頃からずっと好きです。
家の中の物は、ほとんどが無印良品の物です。

そんな好きな会社のこと、商品を使っている理由についてお話します。


無印良品というブランドについて

1980年、西友という会社がプライベートブランドとして、無印良品を作りました。

生活に関わる物ならほとんどなんでも売っています。
住宅、家具、衣料品、雑貨、食品など販売しています。

ノーブランドグッズを和訳した無印良品という名前になりました。今やそれがブランドになっているので、おもしろいと思います。

以前は、百貨店や、コンビニのファミリーマートなどに出店していました。

今は新しい商業施設や、イオンなどのショッピングモール、東京などでは、コンビニのローソンでも販売されているようです。

2021年現在では、
従業員数は18,000人ほどいて、国内店舗数が497店舗、海外店舗数が571店舗あり、国内・海外計で1068店舗あります。


こここらは、私が個人的に好きな理由を3つ、話します。
1つ目がシンプルなデザイン
　ムダがなく、シンプルなデザインなさが好きです。appleの商品と同じようなコンセプトを感じます。シンプルなので、あきずに、何年も使えます。


2つ目は使い方が選べる
　１つの商品が、アイデアがあれば、いろんな使い方ができます。例えば、私はファイルボックスを持っています。本来は書類や本などを入れますが、そのようには使わず、キッチンの下の棚に入れて、フライパンを入れたり、調味料やラップなどをまとめていれています。


3つ目はどんな部屋でもあう
　無印の商品は部屋を選びません。私は今まで、何回も引越をしたことがありますが、どの家にも、無印良品の商品はマッチします。合います。

このような理由から、私は、長い間、無印良品の商品を使い続けています。



もし、自分の国に無印良品があれば、1度見に行ってみてください。とても楽しいですよ！
