Did you feel confident in your last interview? 

If you didn’t feel confident, your interviewer likely didn’t perceive you as confident. 

Yet, in the U.S. and many other countries, interviewers prefer confident candidates. It seems to have an intoxicating effect on them, and many of them equate it (for better or for worse) with competence. So, it’s a skill worth learning!

上次和大家聊了“冷”的各种有趣的说法，今天我们来聊一聊“冷”的反义词：“热”。
热是温度高的意思。在我生活的城市广州，夏天的时候气温达到三十多度，真的很热。这里大家要注意一下，如果我们点一杯咖啡，我们可以说：“我要一杯热咖啡”。但是如果我们说这杯咖啡温度太高了，我们一般说：“这杯咖啡太烫了，我待会儿再喝。”“热”还可以做动词：“这个菜冷了，你把它热一热再吃吧。”
热也可以表示一个人的态度。例如，“他是一个很热情的人，经常邀请朋友和同事去他家吃饭。”“他是一个热心的人，经常帮助别人。”
热还可以表示受欢迎。例如，“现在计算机是大学的热门专业”，意思是很多人都想学习计算机。再举一个例子：“最近出现了欧洲旅游热。” 欧洲旅游热，意思是很多人都去欧洲旅游，欧洲旅游很受欢迎。
最后再介绍一个用法，“热点”。大家的手机有一个功能是“个人热点”，可以给别人分享你的网络，这样他们的手机就可以上网了。“热点”还有一个意思是“新闻热点”，也就是大家都在关注的新闻。
