How do you understand the word “sassy”? I only find out “cheeky” of it in UK English, but that word appears to have other meaning like “lively” in North American English.

I see "sassy" as having a certain attitude in response to something. For example, if someone would reply sarcastically, it can be seen as "sas" or "sassy."
