“I’ll fling myself into the Tiber.” Can anyone help me understand this? It seems like the Tiber is a river in Italy and this expression is somehow related to history. Is it correct? It went like this I know it’s not working, but if anyone sees it and confirms it, I’ll fling myself into the Tiber.
