Hello there. Today I am going to talk about topic that whether or not social networking services are beneficial to our society. I think social networking services are not beneficial to our society. These days SNS is defined as an interactive and it has become an indispensable part of many people’s daily lives. It is true that there are some advantages that it allows users to connect with people all over the world. Moreover, it can send and reply to their friends’ posts in an instant. They can also communicate in real time with others through chat functions. However, there are not only advantages, but also disadvantages. First,you personal information may be stolen by others, which can expose you to the risk of being unknowingly involved in further crimes. In addition, people tend to make offensive comments online, which often cause cyber bullying or a backlash against them. Moreover, an increasing number of people are becoming addicted to SNSs before they know it. Spending too much time using SNSs often interferes with their daily lives and lower their productivity. In my opinion,we should have more face to face communication. Therefore, I think social networking services are not beneficial to our society. Thank you for listening.
