A woman tries to stop his husband from beating his son, she says to him “ if you want to beat our son, hit me first.” Does this sentence make sense? Is there any better way to express it?

yes it makes sense.
also - "if you're going to hit our son, you'll have to go through me first". this makes it sound the woman is putting herself, as a barrier, between her son and the dad.

Also, it should be HER huband, not his.
