My name is Umit. In Turkish, it’s meaning is hope. I think my parents gave it to me as a hope for their life. They expected so many things from the life. And they wanted to call me as a symbol of their life expectancy. However they wanted to me be a girl, but God gave them a boy. Then they decided that they should have call me with this name.
