Day 26.
HI!
It has happened. Arsenal has won a game of football. I still can't believe it. Even I didn't believe that they were capable of doing it. But they did. Damn, it a great feeling, when your favorite team win. I hope I will be able to experience it once again this year.
See you around!!

26th day.

In the Premier League, all football teams are singular in form (Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea) but, in British English, people use a plural form when people are referring to the football team and their actions. They are collective noun in British English. Actually I don't understand why, we just obey the rule of British English.
For examples in British English about collective nouns in football teams :
1. Arsenal are on the attack
2. Chelsea have won again
When people are talking about a Premier League Club as an institution or a business, people may sometimes see the singular form used and, in American English, the singular form is also used to refer to the team on the pitch.
