Should I use “get” or “leave” in these sentences? Is “get” wrong here?
“Melatonin gets/leaves me feeling really drowsy”
“This medicine gets/leaves me all worked up”

“Leaves me feeling” and “gets me all worked up”. I’m not sure if there is a specific rule that applies but the phrase is typically used this way. “Gets me feeling” is not wrong but “leaves me feeling” is more common. “Leaves me all worked up” is rarely ever heard
