He was an original, creative, critical, committed and recognized artist from Latin America. He was able to describe something as simple as putting on a sweater in an amazing way. I love the way he used to see the world. By the way, his name is Julio Cortázar.

No grammatical mistakes, well done! The only thing I would change are the adjectives to describe the people; the ones.you used don't really fit well.
