Wonder refers to thinking about something.
Example: I wonder what the weather will be like tomorrow.
Wander refers to trailing off.
Example: he wandered off into the forest.

Wonder as a verb has 3 meanings:
1. Desire or being curious about sth.
2. Feeling doubt.
3. Feeling amazement.
But to wander means to walk or move in a casual, endless way.
