Hello everyone! In Persian, is جمعيت زياد است or جمعيت بزرگ است correct? Thank you in advance for your help!

Both are correct. But «جمعیت زیاد است» is more natural. However, in a sentence like «جمعیت بزرگی/زیادی در خیابان است» both of them sound quite natural.
