职业教师I go to Osaka’s Korean town to do voluntary work once every week.
My work is teaching Japanese to a high school student who comes from Thailand. She wants to take the JLPT N3 exam next summer. I really hope she will pass the exam!
I always pass the Terminator statue with kimchi on my way to Korean town.

Will your student be taking the test this year or next year? If it is this year then it would be "this summer". (Otherwise, sorry!)
