what's the difference between "spray" and " branch" when talking about flowers?
Imagine you are at the flower shop and you want to buy only two roses.
1) two branches of roses, please?
2) two sprays of roses, please?

A spray of flowers (rose's) is a number of flowers (rose's) on one stem or a branch. Whereas, a branch is the part of a tree that grows out from the main trunk and has leaves or flowers on it. Therefore, a spray of flowers grows off a branch.
You would say "two sprays of rose's please" or you could just ask for two rose's or three roses or a dozen roses.

Do you mean a 'bunch' of roses? Similar, but spray sounds more fancy.

Hi,
Branches of roses refers to the canes. So it means you are going to get two canes of roses/two roses
Sprays are a collection of flowers arranged in a certain way, mostly round; for example an emblem.
I hope this helps.
