No. The correct sentences should be: 1.There are nany peopole (whom) I would like to thank. 2. There is somebody (whom) I would like to thank.

Hello! No, you can not. 'I'd like to thank' is an attributive to the subject 'many people'. Adding direct object ' them' will ruin the structure of the sentence as it must stand after the Verb. You may rephrase it though ... There are many people and I'd like to thank them all/ for... Have a great day!
