My hometown is a litle town called "Jerez", is located on the boarder of Guatemala and El Salvador. It's has a cowboy spirit. It is a quiet place, doesn't has a lot of habitants. The main economy activity is the agriculture. I'ts near to a volcano called "Chingo" . And the main attractions is a pool that feeds on the river. A special day is the fair. Some people used guns but more like a tradition as part of their clothing. The truth is that we are humble and simple. My father always remeber it with a great longing and love. It is where he passed his childhood.

It sounds like a very interesting place and you described it well. In English, it is more common to say you spend time than to pass time, but I like the idea of passing it more.
