A definitive article before nouns with with the suffix -'s. From English perspective, in such phrase what the definitive article "the" applied to? For example: the children's books Is it the "the" applied to the "children's" or to the "books"? and if it's applied to the "books", then how to say the same thing but about books not mentioned earlier (not specific books)?
