Spanish: "clima" vs "tiempo"
In Duolingo, "weather" is most often translated into Spanish as "clima", not as "tiempo". Don't Spanish speakers distinguish between climate and weather, or is this a specific Duolingo issue?

Hi! it is not an issue, the key is the situation for example in the news they say "vamos a ver el tiempo en la ciudad" but in other place with different people mention "el clima esta muy bien hoy", all depends if you use clima or tiempo everyone will understand :)

Hi Franz,
At least here in Peru, people don't distinguish between "clima" and "tiempo". We usually use "clima" instead of "tiempo", ex: "está bueno el clima hoy". But we also say "este clima está loco" when all of a sudden it is a sunny day in winter season, for example.
It may change from country to country, maybe? Hope this helps!
