辅导教师🇯🇵 Real Japanese Expressions #3
〜日本語のリアル〜
⭐️ 「まじ?」
まじ? is a very common casual expression in Japanese. I use this a lot when I talk to my Japanese friends.
It means:
* Really?
* Seriously?
* No way!
Japanese people use it all the time when they are surprised or shocked.
📌 Examples
👤 A: 来月、日本に行くよ!
(A: I’m going to Japan next month!)
👤 B: まじ?
(B: Really?)
⸻
👤 A: テストで100点だった!
(A: I got 100% on the test!)
👤 B: まじで!?
(B: Seriously!?)
⸻
💡 Tip
* まじ? = casual
* 本当ですか? = polite
If you’re talking with friends, 「まじ?」 will sound much more natural than 「本当ですか?」.
Have you heard someone say 「まじ?」 before? 😊🇯🇵✨
