Even though technically the quote is "he", most native English speakers remember it as "they".
It's from the movie "Field of Dreams". Kevin Costner (the actor playing the lead role) builds a baseball stadium in a cornfield so that the dead baseball players will come play as ghosts.
It's a dumb premise, and the title of the movie is wrong because dead people do not become angels in any religion.
