They are made up by millions of blue tiles and currently are part of the UNESCO Heritage.

They are made up of millions of blue tiles and currently are part of the UNESCO Heritage.

After made up by you expect to see a noun because when you use it this way it has another meaning which is an imaginary thing or invented by mind like a made up story. That story was made up by George for example. Keep up the good work.
