Trees play an important role in our environment. some people think that, more trees should be planted on the empty places in the cities and towns. I agree to the large degree, dew to the over population and industrial growth,trees are getting lesser on the earth. To begin with,there are multifarious causes why we should plant more trees on the empty places in cities and towns. First of all,Population is increasing year by year with an enormous rate. In order to build new residential areas for the people, forests are being cut. For instance,in recent years, Canadian government built some new towns, as many people are newly immigrated to Canada.Therefore,deforestation was done there to build new residential areas for them. Thus, to maintain the right balance between the planet and humans we must plant more trees on the empty areas,or else long term consequences will be very dangerous for us. There is an another crucial reason that is industrial growth. the world is developing so fast. In order to fulfill basic needs of the people,more and more industries are developing every year. In resulting pollution is in increasing drastically. For example,in Néw Delhi air pollution is getting worse and worse by timely,as industries are in operation for day and night. If industries keep working like this for next 10 years, our environment will be very polluted and , thus we can not live a healthy life. Therefore, the government should make a plan to plant more trees on the empty spaces, so that we can keep a healthy environment. However, besides protecting our environment, building new housing facilities are also equally important. In the modern society houses are not only enough to live, along with it we need shopping malls, cinema halls etc. for entertainment. In my opinion trees are vital for our society.
