What's the difference between these 3 verbs " hear of " "hear from" and "hear about" ? I always get mixed up with them. Thank you

Hi hear of and hear about is basically the same, it's when you hear news about someone/something. Hear from is when someone contacts you- you hear from them (maybe after some period of time).
