In the future all cars, buses, and trucks will be driverless. The only people traveling inside these vehicles would be passengers. Do you think the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages? It is believed that humans will be in a passenger role inside all vehicles in the near future. In my point of view, there are a lot more pros than cons in this situation, because it could reduce the risk of potentially dangerous situations and at the same time it could be a chance to organize the transportation system without the traffic jams. On the one hand, the driverless cars can be a great alternative for passengers who are scared about their life during their trip because it can avoid the risk of driver fatigue and as a result it could lead to prevention of the accidents on the road which can happen. According to Canadian statistics, the reason for more than 50 percent of accidents is human behavior. Additionally, if all vehicles will be without drivers it will be a good chance to reduce the traffic via managing one digital center and organizing a new transportation system. As a result, the people can optimize their time during the day and can plan their life properly. A good example of this organization could be in the Dubai underground system, where driverless trains are always efficient and they can prevent all types of accidents. On the other hand, removing human influence, the world can face technical issues because all transportation systems will be dependent on the ability to have the strongest wifi connection with the main center. It could lead to interruptions or other issues. In conclusion, the near future could be in driverless vehicles and in my opinion it is a good sign for humans because it could be a chance for preventing accidents or other similar situations and organizing the new transportation system without the influence of human’s factor despite the Wifi dependance.
