Hello again, dear native English speakers. I'm trying to translate into English a part of an old (from the 70s), but still popular Russian song. Could you please correct my, like, "pre-translation"? here's the part: колёса диктуют вагонные где срочно увидеться нам. = wagon wheels "dictate" (impose/necessitate) [to] me where we do/should meet urgently мои номера телефонные разбросаны по городам. = my phone numbers are "scattered" (throwed about) across [different, many] cities (= as if somebody strewed my phone numbers over lots of Soviet cities in a random/mess way) thank you in advance.

Wagon wheels tell me where we should meet at once you could also perhaps say "lead" or "take" "Wagon wheels lead/take me to where we should meet at once" dictate/impose/necessitate are all a little formal but they would work here. At once means urgently but more natural my phone numbers are scattered across many cities my phone numbers are strewn across many cities Both are correct. Could also say “sprinkled across” which sounds less messy compared to “strewn”
