Yesterday, something totally unexpectedly happened: I found back my missing project. It turned out the file had been auto-saved and stored as a draft. I had already given it up for lost, so I was all the more delighted when I got it back.

Instead of “unexpectedly,” it sounds more natural to say “unexpected.” In English, we usually just say “found” instead of “found back.” “All the more delighted” is fine, but many people more often say “even more delighted.”
