I recommend this book even if you are not interested in religion in general, because even if you are not a religious person, whether you notice it or not, your life is affected by religion and ,probably, by one predominantly. The book is just a 144 pages which most people can read in a day or a few hours. Belloc was a British catholic historian with a very psychological approach. He helps you to understand why people did what they did in the context provided.
