I have a feeling that this year it is time to replace the household appliances we have used all this while. Firstly, our washing machine broke earlier this year, which we have used for about 7 years. Secondly, the microwave works, but it's door couldn't wouldn't close itself if we didn't push it by hand in March. These days, the TV set is out of order. I hate to admit it, but I knew this issue was definitely going to be a disaster. I really realized I had no choice but to buy them at a time. The issue was whose taste should be our top priority, in terms of the color, the shape, the size and so on and so forth. My wife and my daughter are particular about this. So I asked them, "If you must want me to make your taste a top priority, I have a suggestion. Since my son and I will select TV set, we give you a right to decide the color or something. Please choose a washing machine or a microwave which is your cup of tea". The reason why my son and I were able to decide to pick up TV sets is that I don't think they come in that many kinds of colors and shapes. As a matter of fact, they look almost the same to me. On the other hand, microwaves and washing machines come in a lot of colors and shapes. My wife and my daughter had a talk. In the end, the white one was my daughter's choice of microwave and the black one was my wife's choice of washing machine. I finally could buy them and I was relieved to hear that.
