I always practise listening skill through Ted Talk. But seemingly, I can neither remember what they say nor understand it, I hear most words, though. Sometimes, I hear one or more sentences, summarize main ideas, but later I forget them and don't know what I am listening. Sincerely speaking, I often lose my mind. I mean I can't concentrate on anything for a long time.
So what should I do to improve my listening skill?
hello, what's your problem? you don't remenber or you don't understund the concept of speech. After some minutes it's normal lose the concentration, the braim has need of rest, anyway the concentration is a personal thing it can be fatigue, stress, ecc.
If be honest, I believe that be concentrate it is the most helpful but, I found another method it is imagination in you mind! All time is you can listening, reading ,writing - let's imagination!
Repetition is the key to improve your listening skill.
