Most of us know from experience that weather can shift from a perfectly sunny day to a raging storm in a matter of hours. This uncertainty is one of the key features of the Hungarian climate. Thus, being able to understand local weather reports could be of use to anyone thinking of spending some time in Hungary.

Thank you :) I have some ideas for another article, however it's far from finished. Also I have no clue what is the minimum amount of grammar / linguistic info what I have to squeeze in for it to get published - as you probably read on my profile, i am a geologist and not a licensed teacher.

p.s. somehow a typo made it into the article, "night" is written as "éj" and not "éjj" in its short form. I was probably trying to write "éjjel" (at night)  but changed my mind or something. The word "éjjel" has two "j"s because the first letter of the -val -vel (with) suffix changes its form to match the last consonant of the word it's been attached to.
