difference between 비 & 우천
Dear my friends,
Could you kindly explain the difference between 비 & 우천 for me?
Both of them are "rain" in English

'우천' is a very formal way to refer to rainy weather. Normally, It appears in a formal writing. It is not natural if you use 우천 for daily conversations.

비: 대기 중의 수증기가 높은 곳에서 찬 공기를 만나 식어서 엉기어 땅 위로 떨어지는 물방울
우천 : '비'가 오는 날씨, '비'가 내리는 하늘
So, '비' is rain. And, '우천' means rainy weather.
In addition, '우천' is combined with Chinese character '우(雨 / rain)' + '천(天 / sky)'.
