we won the game.
we came first.
it was a great achievement. my professor was proud of me.
how can I say we become third or second in a competition?
and
this one is about noise what does it mean?

"We came first, we came second, we came third." You could also say "We came in first, we came in second, we came in third"
The one about "noise" I don't understand. If you "shake the feeling out of something"... I've never heard that phrase. But if the feeling is out of something, then its numb.
You should put this in the notebooks, rather than discussions I think.
