Hello everyone!
I am trying to learn Korean language so that I have a question about it.
Newly I started to read Hangul. But, it is little bit different for me 'for beginning' :) And I need to be good at in the reading, if I wanna learn other details and rules. Because all other stuff written in Hangul. For this point I want to take an advise from you. I wanna improve my reading skills and if there any website or book for basic level reading, I hope to know them.
So I am waiting for your recommendations!
Thanks!
Merhaba!
Don't try to recognize the whole syllable as a symbol when reading Korean sentences.
Theoretically, there are 11,172 different syllables in Korean. To much to memorize.
For example,
한글은 배우기 쉽다. has 8 different syllables.
As you know, each syllable has at most 3 components.(first consonant, middle vowel and final consonant)
Try to disassemble each syllable as quickly as possible.
한 => ㅎ + ㅏ + ㄴ
글 => ㄱ + ㅡ + ㄹ
은 => ㅇ + ㅡ + ㄴ
...
i.e., don't memorize 한 not as a symbol of [HAN], but as 3 components of ㅎ[H], ㅏ[A] , ㄴ[N]
