Here I post a conversation from a textbook. If you are an English native speaker, would you like to help me identify whether the below conversation is natural or not? Why? And what's your opinions on how to be natural?
Asking the way:
A. I am sorry to trouble you, madam. Can you tell me - is there a bus from here to Kensington High Street?
B. No trouble at all. it's quite a distance from here. You see the bus-stop across the street? A 73 bus will take you right there.
A. Thanks a lot.
B. You're welcome.
My opinion, this small talk is so formal, when I practice this small talk, I think the people in this conversation like robots.
