an awkward silence in the conversation When there is an awkward silence in the coversation, I think you have three choices to say.

''Right, right… That’s very true."

''Oh, that’s great! You know what? I go to go. See you later."

''I don’t know what to say about it.''

Patience is sometimes necessary for the conversation to have a great conversation, however I can't stand the awkward silence.

Can you put up with it?

DAICHI, there was an anecdote about Soviet phisicist Vladimir Fock, whould would walk for three hours in a park with Paul Dirac (an English physicist and Fock's friend) in a park in Edinburgh without saying a word.
After which Dirac complimented him as an interesting conversation partner.

I think, this anectode had been told about many other famous people before. And it rather reminds me of Japanese character (as it appear in Japanese films at least:)) than Russian or British.

But I'm lazy.
Sometimes when there is silence I just think - "is it awkward inedeed?" and consider it my partener's problem:)) If (s)he comes up with a topic - I'd always support it.

you have more options than just those. If you really want to let the conversation flow just try to change the subject, try to bring up a topic you are more confortable with.

Maybe but I don't think so .actually it depends on you whether you want to be quite or not . 

Because I can't stop talking if others do not speak I use to start the conversation......

It depends on if you are somehow interested in the person you are talking to, sometimes it's worth trying to change the talk subject and find something nicer to tell or share. But if you think there's nothing else to say and the silence keeps on going, I'd just say bye for the moment.
