Hi,
I am somewhat familiar with Arabic, I am looking for an easy to read book. Any suggestions?
Hi, I have an intermediate level in Arabic. I am reading the only graded books which exist in Arabic. You can find them on Amazon, there is a serie of stories written especially for Arabic learners in Fous’ha. Their name is Sahlawayhi and the author is Ahmed Khorshid. They are just great. The author uses over and over the same words, so you really can integrate them. There are some exercices too. The books aren’t expensive. You can also buy and download the MP3 on the Amazon/Audible application.
They are books for adults and not religious ones like the stories of the prophets that Yasser suggests.
@Ayman articles of Wikipedia are also a good way to improve language learning, unfortunately the translation to other languages is not literal!
Ali, did you try Al Jazeera? I used to fnd it too difficult but I have seen now that they introduced some simple videos for A2/B1 level.
@Amna; anything , short stories or something like that?
@adrian : http://blog.almodaris.com ? I will check it out. Thanks.
Hi, I'm currently reading "Easy Arabic Reader" by Mahmoud Gaafar and Jane Wightwick. I'm enjoying it since I can read through it except for a few words... and this is a new experience for me!!!
I'm also reading the blog almodaris, the author writes news articles but they are usually easy to read!
@Ayman, Thanks.But i think learning arabic from Wikipedia is a bit difficult.
@Yasir. Thanks I will check these out.
@Asim. Mustafa Mehmod?? OK I will try that.
