To read alot of articles and newspapers and watch for the details they are using,

Make a plan with 1 hour reading in a different subject everyday

If you are very hard to comprehend an articles in IELTs, you would have to study grammar rules from scratch to clarify what points you have to reach to enhance.  But if you can read fairly with IELTs articles but just need time to assimilate, you may be able to enhance your reading comprehension through constant practice without spending too much time on regular grammar study. 

In a word, that depends upon your knowledge of English comprehension based upon proper grammar rules.
