今天早上，我们的课被取消了。 我们的老师告诉我们，九点开始上课。

This morning, our class was cancelled. Our lecturer told us that the class will begin at 9 A.M.

1) 课 means a lesson, while 上课 means to attend the class.

2) 被 is used to form a passive voice sentence, it implies that an unfortunate thing has happened.

3) 告诉 is a transitive verb which means it needs an object.

4) was cancelled (dibatalkan) -- You need to use a past tense verb in a past tense passive voice. 

5) 9 A.M is more natural than 9 o'clock.
