Big house is luxury, but I prefer small houses because easier to maintain, less time spent cleaning, less expensive.

I neither like small houses nor big houses. Big houses, especially mansions are difficult to maintain and it would take forever to clean them unless you're privileged and have maids. I think I would only like to live in a big house if I have a big family.

If I were going to live in a small house, I might as well stay in a condominium. In my country, it's very modern and convenient to live in a condominium because the condominiums have good amenities such as gyms and swimming pools, and condos are situated across the shopping malls. 

Plus, a two or three bedroom unit would be easier to clean/easier to maintain than a big house 

Small.

Bigger house = More useless stuff.

More useless stuff = More to clean.
